TWO Engraving Styles for MOEN Bells of Norway

    This picture shows two styles of engraving.  The small 3-1/2" high (including the metal handle) on the left has the US Ski Team logo black laser etched in Utah on the brass MOEN Bell of Norway.  The medium 4" high bell, right, is "silver engraved" in Norway with the Torino 2006 Olympic Games logo.   

    Our Utah engravers developed the dark etching technique which has become popular since it is easier to read.  The traditional "silver engraved" digs through the brass and into the steel bell, and is coated with acrylic to resist rust.
